Amy Schumer has upset supporters of Donald Trump at a comedy show in Florida. Picture: AP

AMY Schumer mocked Donald Trump, calling him an “orange, sexual-assaulting ... monster”, which didn’t impress his fans, who walked out on her.

About 200 of Schumer’s fans walked out of the Hollywood actor and stand-up comedian’s performance in Tampa Bay, Florida, after she started talking about her views on the US election. Schumer brought up Trump, calling him an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster”.

She also invited a Trump supporter named “Dave” to explain how anyone could support the Republican nominee on stage.

“Look, I know you’re here to laugh,” she said, as she shot back at the crowd that booed.

“But it’s really important. I just wanted to spend five minutes talking about him … [inaudible due to booing] … You can leave if you want, but I’m going to talk about it for five minutes.”

She asked him: “Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is?” she asked the man. “Do you worry he’ll be impulsive and get us in a lot of f---ing trouble we can’t get out of?”

Schumer left her audience divided, as she talked about her support for Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and how Trump’s behaviour affected her as a former sexual assault victim.

The tension increased as she also threatened to kick out Republican supporters if they kept booing.

“I know you’re here to laugh, but you know what, you choose your life, you choose the way you want to go in your life, and it’s just too important,” she said.

“So we’re going to spend five more minutes talking about it and if you don’t like it you can go to the bathroom or you can leave.”

Schumer also asked anyone who had been a victim of sexual assault to stand up. Many did during her show.
