The lender, whose ATMs, payments and online and mobile banking services have suffered across two previous incidents, issued another apology to customers on Tuesday via Twitter.

“We seem to be having some issues this morning — really sorry everyone, we’ll have an update soon.”

Unhappy users took to Twitter to express their frustration at the situation.

Just yesterday the bank suffered an outage leaving customers unable to access services.

During last week’s parliamentary inquiry into the banking system, NAB chief Andrew Thorburn promised to keep a sufficient number of ATMs across its national framework, even though usage of the cash terminals are in decline.
