APPLE clearly doesn’t like to waste any time. The iPhone maker has already released the first public beta testing for the new features coming to its latest operating software iOS10.1.
In addition to sorting out a few bugs — such as the annoying problem with the lightning headphones — the update includes some nifty new features.
Among them is the fact that Apple is expanding the phone’s coolest new ability to allow users to take superior photos in portrait mode.
The iPhone 7 Plus has been equipped with a dual lens camera with different zoom capabilities meaning users can take DSLR-like photos with a greater depth of field.
This means that you can take a photo by focusing on a subject and emphasising the point of focus by having a blurred background.
But there’s a catch, this feature is not quite complete and if you want to be able to play around and enjoy it earlier than everyone else, you need to let Apple know.

In order to try out the latest software updates, you need to enrol in the iOS beta program.
“As a member of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can take part in shaping Apple software by test-driving prerelease versions and letting us know what you think,†the Apple website says.
To join you can go here and sign in with your Apple ID. You’ll then need to download the configuration profile on your iOS device.
Even though it’s a public beta test, it’s probably a good idea to back up your phone beforehand just to be safe. Then you can wow all your friends with your privileged access to the latest features.
