A pilot has died after a light plane crash in Victoria's Gippsland region.
Victoria Police confirmed a plane had crash-landed about 3.45pm near the Yarram airport. It is believed the plane left Tooradin Airfield earlier on Wednesday.Â

The man, in his 60s, was the sole occupant and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Wellington Shire Council, which operates the Yarram Parkside Aerodrome, said emergency services were on the scene.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the crash site.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will also investigate.
