Diesel plays Dom Toretto and Johnson plays Luke Hobbs in the Fast and Furious movies.

TENSIONS between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel have reached boiling point.

Yesterday Johnson caused a social media frenzy when he blasted some of his male co-stars from Fast 8 in a fiery Instagram post.

“This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8,” he wrote.

“There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em.

“My male co-stars however are a different story,” the former wrestler wrote.

“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.

“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.”

Johnson ended his rant with the hashtag #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses.

According to TMZ, the “candy ass” Johnson was referring to is Vin Diesel, who is not only starring in Fast 8 but is also a producer.

The site said Johnson’s angry at Diesel because he “has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ”.

The atmosphere on set was so bad after Johnson’s angry post that “it was almost impossible to shoot scenes,” according to TMZ.

The two actors had a secret meeting to sort out their differences, but it’s not known if they managed to make peace.
