WHILE it may be responsible for some serious mayhem around the globe, Pokemon Go has also helped develop a sense of community among players of the game.
By now it has become obvious that Pokemon Go has an in-game map reflecting locations in the real world, which encourages players to explore their neighbourhoods.
This has not only seen an influx of people being active in their local city, but it has resulted in a number of Pokemon Go themed events.
To make things easier for those budding Pokemon Masters wanting to attend, we have complied a list of the biggest Pokemon Go events happening this weekend.
SYDNEY
• Pokemon Pub Crawl - Share a brew with other Pokemon Trainers and search Sydney’s pubs to find out which is home to the most powerful creatures. The event will have PokemonGo related drinking games and will start at Frankie’s Pizza from 8pm Saturday night.
• Pokemon Go Theme Night - Campbelltown City Bowl is inviting all Trainers for a night of unlimited Pokemon Go related bowling. The event promises to have lures running the whole night, Pokemon plush toys up for grabs and Poke-Cocktails. The event will run from 7pm - 10pm with booking essential.
• The Nerd Cave Pokemon Go Meet up - This event will mainly take place around Prince Alfred Park, which is located one minute away from The Nerd Cave.
