IT looks like Nina Proudman could have yet another man in her life. Channel 10 has announced that Alexander England has joined the cast of Offspring.

The former star of Wild Boys will play Harry Crewe, the new Crisis and Culture Manager at St Francis Hospital.

Offspring has featured a swath of new men this season, many of whom go on to romance Asher Keddie’s Nina.

TJ Power came on board to play Darcy’s (John Waters) love child, and Nina’s brother, Will Bowen.

Dan Wyllie has joined as “pantsman” Dr Alex Ferguson who took Nina on a date. Most memorably, Keddie’s real life husband Vincent Fantauzzo played Franklin Swan, a friend of Will’s who ends up bedding Nina.

The makers of Offspring describe Crewe as an arrogant “Mr Fixit” who initially puts Nina off-side — but say first impressions are not what they seem.

England will make his first appearance on the show on July 27.

“Offspring is so well loved and has a fierce fan base so I am excited to be part of that world,” England says.

“A lot of the cast are good friends of mine — Lachy Hulme, Richard Davies, Jane Harber, Kat Stewart — but I had never worked with Asher before.

“Harry enters the world of St. Francis as an outsider — a gun for hire problem solver. He has his own agenda which is resolving an image issue at the hospital. That is how he comes into contact with Nina.”

England sprang to fame alongside Daniel MacPherson and Zoe Ventoura in Channel 7’s Wild Boys in 2011.

The following year he played James Packer in Paper Giants: Magazine Wars and then brother Clyde Packer alongside Lachy Hulme in Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story.

England was also memorable as legendary cricketer Tony Greig in Nine miniseries Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War.
