SHE’S one of the world’s most stylish women, known for sporting designer and high street outfits.
And the Duchess of Cambridge has shown yet again that she doesn’t just wear her favourite frocks once — she “recycles†them.
Catherine has been photographed at a charity event in London wearing a blush-coloured Jenny Packham gown — worth about $6000 — that she first wore in June 2011 to the first official royal engagement she attended after marrying Prince William.
This week, the Duchess wore the stunning embellished gown at a gala dinner for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, for which she is a patron.
The mother of two attended the black tie fundraiser with her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, teaming the red carpet-worthy outfit with a pair of LK Bennett high heels which she’s also worn before, the Daily Mail reports.
She joked that her husband was looking forward to dinner — the menu was designed by Michelin star chef.
“William has to put up with my cooking most of the time,†the Duchess said, according to the Daily Mail.
Wills chimed in: “It’s the reason I’m so skinny.â€
K-Midd teamed the dress — which has sheer cap sleevs and is floor length — with a relaxed up-do and a pair of drop earrings — a contrast to the long, glossy mane of hair she sported the first time she wore it.
Jenny Packham is one of the Duchess’ favourite designers, having worn her dresses to many official royal engagements including the couple’s tour of Australia in 2014.
She also favours Alexander McQueen, Temperely London, Emilia Wickstead, along with high street British brands such as Reiss and Whistles.
She has supported Australian fashion too, wearing a white, sleeved Zimmermann sun dress in 2014.
