SYDNEY PR executive Roxy Jacenko made headlines for the glamorous designer clothing she wore to court during her husband Oliver Curtis’ insider trading trial.
Earlier this month, Curtis was found guilty of an insider trader scheme worth $1.43 million. He faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a $220,000 fine.
During the trial Jacenko shared selfies of her outfits with her 94,000 Instagram followers and tagged designers Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Celine, Christian Dior and Balmain in her posts.
Today, as she prepared to accompany her husband to court for his sentencing hearing, she snapped a photo of her head-to-toe Gucci outfit - a $3150 pleated metallic leather skirt, $1020 silver leather platform heels and a $1670 striped jumper embroidered with the phrase “L’Aveugle Par Amourâ€, which translates to “blinded by loveâ€.
The founder of Sweaty Betty PR wore the outfit this morning as she hosted an $80-a-head PR conference at the Shangri-La Hotel, called “In Conversation with Roxy Jacenkoâ€, where she spoke to hundreds of budding publicity professionals about her career. The event coincidentally fell on the same day as Curtis’ hearing.
The workshop began at 9am and the hotel is just a short walk from the courtroom where Curtis’ sentencing submission began at 2pm.
Jacenko changed into a more demure outfit for her husband’s court appearance. She was photographed outside the NSW Supreme Court this afternoon wearing a black dress and black stilettos.
UPDATE: Oliver Curtis’ sentencing has been adjourned until Friday, June 24.
Jacenko has accompanied her husband to court everyday during his trial.
