A Bulleen teenager, 17, has been locked up and charged with murder, after a man was stabbed to death at a Norlane house party on Friday night.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said police responded to reports that a man had been stabbed at a house party on Ibis Court, Norlane, just after 9.30pm.Â
Paramedics tried to revive the victim, believed to be aged in his 20s, but he died at the scene.

Police and forensics attended the Ibis Court house on Saturday, where they spoke to witnesses and retrieved a knife from the scene.
Homicide squad detectives arrested the 17-year-old at a Bulleen property, just before 12.30pm on Saturday.
On Saturday night the teenager was charged with one count of murder and remanded to appear in a children's court at a later date.

The victim is yet to be formerly identified.
It is understood that he was stabbed during a party that had been advertised on Facebook.
Media reports on Saturday said the victim had been attempting to break up a fight at the party when he was stabbed.Â
Ibis Court has been the scene of several violent crimes in recent times.
In February, a man in his 40s was found at a house after being shot in the leg as he rode his bike.
In 2014, mother-of-three Tyrelle Evertsen-Mostert was stabbed to death inside her home.
