Fox Footy have cleared the air with Greater Western Sydney, advising the Giants that Leon Cameron's notes will not be shown again.

Cameron was unhappy after the network broadcast a close-up of the Giants coach's broad "headlines" for his players prior to three-quarter time in GWS' 22-point loss to Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

The shot was a regulation close-up of the GWS coach's box, but Cameron said he was irked by the invasion of his privacy.

The Giants coach raised the matter following the game - his side's first defeat since round three.

"Did I like it?...not really, but it is what it is," Cameron said.

"I can understand that there is an interest in looking at the coach being a lunatic at times, which we all are – I shouldn't say about the other 17 but sometimes I am – but there's no doubt we will have a chat and fix it up.

"You just have to be careful because it is our space. We'll fix it up.

"I was surprised at that stage, but within 30 seconds I had got over it and probably forgot about it until now.

"Fox have been fantastic, Seven have been fantastic; they are both great broadcasters of the game. I think the coaches and the clubs give great access to show the supporter what actually happens at a footy club and we will continue to be very open with the media.

"Whether they [broadcasters] went a bit too far we will work that out within the next 24 or 48 hours."

It's understood Fox spoke to the Giants after the match, telling the club that they would strive to ensure a coach's notes weren't visible on television again.

A GWS spokesman said the club would follow up the issue during the week.

The AFL will speak to the Giants to get a full understanding of their views before making any public comment.
