The real Jon Jones.

JON Jones isn’t at Legoland. That much I can tell you.

The UFC former light heavyweight champ is probably in a gym somewhere, doing what he needs to do to assure he’s ready to break Daniel Cormier down into carry-on size when they meet at UFC 200 on June 9.

Nonetheless, Jones’ fans are on the lookout, and one thought he was onto something when he saw a man he thought was Jones at Legoland amusement park in Winterhaven, Florida on Saturday.

The fan tweeted out a picture of a man who sort of kind of looked like Jones strolling about the park:

Jones was quick to assure: you have the wrong dude, good sir.

Now, on its face, there are some similarities here. Muscular dude. Big beard. Very short hair. But then there are the definitely not-Jones parts.

These arms are a bit too big. And then there’s the face, that is definitely not Jones-ian.

Welp. Big gulps. Better luck next time, sir.

Jones and long-time rival Daniel Cormier will headline UFC 200 in Conor McGregor’s absence from the fight night. The American earnt the right to compete for the unified light-heavyweight title when he beat Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 197 in April.

After a 15-month absence from the sport, he won the interim light-heavyweight belt with a unanimous points decision victory over his countryman at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Jones’ rivalry with Cormier was highlighted several days after that fight when the two had to be separated during a photo shoot on Good Morning America.

“That will be my easiest fight,” Cormier said to Jones as the UFC PR department tried to get everybody in line for a photo opportunity. “After what I saw last weekend, it’s going to be light work.”

Things only got more uncomfortable from there. With Paige VanZant, Frankie Edgar, Chuck Liddell, Miesha Tate and Bruce Buffer standing between them, Jones and Cormier continued to chirp at each other.

“Shut the f*** up,” Jones said.

“I can’t stand you,” Cormier fired back.

At that point it looked like Jones and Cormier could forget the suits and ties and the fact that they were about to go on national television and just start throwing down in the middle of the set.

“Bum,” Cormier continuously chanted with Jones a few feet away.

“I made you cry,” Jones fired back. “You cried!”

Eventually, Jones and Cormier had to be separated and pulled out of the shoot because it was clear they weren’t going to get along well enough for anyone to take a photo.
