He’s done. Daniel Craig, pictured in a scene from Spectre, has turned down a mega offer to play James Bond in the next two 007 movies. Picture: Supplied

THERE’LL be no more Bond movies for Daniel Craig, who has confirmed he is done with 007 despite studio bosses throwing serious cash at him to reprise the role.

Craig rejected a AU$137 million offer from studio MGM to play Bond in two more movies, after last year’s hit Spectre.

The Daily Mail reports the mega-offer included “endorsements, profit shares, and a role for him working as a co-producer” but Craig still said no.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Daniel is done — pure and simple — he told top brass at MGM after Spectre. They threw huge amounts of money at him, but it just wasn’t what he wanted.”

The British actor, 48, has played Bond four times and raked in billions of dollars for the studio in box office revenue, the Daily Mail reports.

Craig has already netted about $77 million across the four 007 films he has starred in — Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).

But by the time Spectre was released last year, Craig was seriously over it.

Craig said he would “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than star in another Bond movie.

“I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on,” Craig told Time Out London in October last year.

“If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.”

Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba have been touted as possible replacements for Craig — not that he cares who the next Bond is.

“I don’t give a f ...,” Craig said when asked by Time Out if he cares who plays Bond after him.
