FORMER rugby league star Andrew Johns is rumoured to have bought a beachside pad in Sydney’s east for around $2.8 million.
Sources indicate the eighth Immortal snapped up a multi-million dollar, Bronte waterfront apartment in a complex along Bronte Rd.
The property is said to have sold through Phillips Pantzer Donnelley however agent Alexander Phillips denied the sale.
Johns who is now a commentator for the sport has been hailed as one of the best halfbacks to ever play NRL.
He was captain of the Newcastle Knights and the New South Wales Blues in 23 State of Origin matches and represented Australia at two World Cups.
The apartment believed to be bought by Johns is three bedrooms and has ocean views. It spans an entire floor, offering 284sq m and with private lift access.
