A search is underway for a kayaker presumed missing after an overturned craft was found on NSW's Lake Illawarra.
Emergency services were called to Windang Foreshore Park about 6am on Saturday following reports a kayaker had overturned after setting out about 2.30am with a headlamp.
The kayak was discovered along with fishing equipment but the kayaker remains missing, police say.
