No time for Trump: Salma Hayek.

Campaigning ahead of this week’s New York GOP primary, it happened when the Republican frontrunner was speaking of the September 11 terror attacks.

“I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen, down on 7-11, down at the World Trade Centre, right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

Yep, the possible future leader of the United States referred to the country’s darkest day in recent memory as ‘7/11’.

Many piled on to mock Trump, but for our money, the most succint response came from Hollywood actress Salma Hayek. The 49-year-old Mexico-born star and outspoken human rights activist had this to say:

BOOM. Hayek’s snappy one-liner has already been retweeted more than 15,000 times — and if the tweet alone didn’t give it away, an earlier tweet probably tells us she has no plans to vote for Trump:
