A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly dousing a woman with petrol during a domestic dispute in Brisbane’s south.
Police were called to a Parkinson address around 8pm on Monday where the incident had occurred, and arrested the man outside the home.
The 51-year-old woman was transported to hospital but has since been released.
The 55-year-old man, who police confirmed is known to the woman, has been hit with a slew of charges.
He faces one count each of attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, attempted arson, common assault, contravention of a domestic violence order and wilful damage.
He is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court today.
