The newly announced, Annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs) aims to honour the most innovative, community-minded and highest achieving individuals and businesses in the property and media industries.

The awards are the brainchild of the REA Group and will be held in Spring this year.

Categories have been designed to encompass the entire property industry, from residential, commercial, and project developers, as well as those working in the media.

Categories include Innovation, Community, Service and Marketing Excellence.

REA Group chief executive officer, Tracey Fellows said everyday they interacted with people in the property and media industries who were doing amazing things.

“This might be how they are contributing to their local communities, delivering exceptional service to their market and clients, or how they are using technology in new and innovative ways,’’ she said.

“We feel it’s our responsibility to recognise and celebrate our outstanding industry partners, and what better way to do that than with a new awards program.’’
