New Telstra CEO, Andrew Penn, has announced three group executives to head the telco giant’s retail, marketing, and international businesses.

Karsten Wildberger, will become the new group executive for retail, Cynthia Whelan will become the group executive for international and new businesses, while Joe Pollard will take over as group executive for media and the chief marketing officer.

Telstra announced this week its retail boss, Gordon Ballantyne, who had been a strong contender for the CEO’s position, will leave in December after more than five years with the company.
