DONALD Trump has made it fairly clear that he doesn’t need a dollar, but one thing he can’t buy is votes.
So in a bid to appease his public, the Presidential Candidate took to Twitter overnight in the United States to answer questions from Twitter’s New York offices.
What we learnt wasn’t anything particularly groundbreaking; he supports gun control (“I believe in it 100 per centâ€), he’ll forgo the presidential salary if elected (“I won’t take even one dollar, I’m totally giving up my salaryâ€) and he wants to close America’s borders (“first thing I’d do in my first day as President is close up our borders so that illegal immigrants cannot enter this country, everything’s falling apartâ€).
But as with any polarising figure who attempts a promotional stunt on social media, it’s more likely to bite back than deliver results.
And in Trump’s case, social media bit back, bigtime.
