Malcolm Turnbull and Julie Bishop, on the other hand, are stoked.

“IT’S not right. It’s un-Australian.”

Ray Hadley and fellow Abbott fans are very, very upset.

The 2GB presenter, even more furious than he was yesterday when Malcolm Turnbull belligerently turned up his collar and began his prime ministerial rumblings, has upgraded the nation’s new leader from “a bit of a wank” to “an elitist snob” and “a toff”.

After flagging his fury on Nine’s Today Show this morning saying those who voted for Turnbull had “blood on their hands”, ‘raging Ray’ began his program by labelling the overnight coup “one of the great acts of political treachery in our history”.

“We have our first ever Labor-life Prime Minister in Malcolm Turnbull,” he said.

Before slamming his supporters, Hadley took aim at Turnbull’s inaccuracy in citing 30 Newspolls that put the coalition behind as he justified his move against Tony Abbott.

“Turnbull was incorrect, it in fact was 29,” he said.

“The last Liberal leader who lost 30 in a row was you, Malcolm.”

The shock jock has gone on to label Turnbull “unelectable”, an “elitist snob”, “a toff”, and it doesn’t sound like the name calling is going to stop any time soon.

Earlier on fellow shock jock Alan Jones’ program, a listener had only one name for the new PM.

“I’ve got one word for Malcolm Turnbull: Judas.”

Without stating whether he would support Mr Turnbull as PM, Jones expressed profound disappointment for the process.

“I don’t know what the nation’s going to do, but I do know what they can’t do,” he said.

“There’s no way in the world they can be backing Bill Shorten and anyone who represents the crowd that brought this nation almost to its knees and created economic havoc. It created an enormous dilemma for the people of Australia.”

Hadley is now on a mission to name and shame the 53 “numbskulls” who voted for Mr Turnbull in last night’s vote.

He’s called on Bronwyn Bishop to resign over her disloyalty to Mr Abbott, and has taken to mocking Christopher Pyne’s voice while ridiculing his claims that he is a fixer.

“He’s a fixer? He’s a melonhead, that’s what he is,” Hadley said.

Hadley has so far identified 32 of “these dunderheads” who voted for Turnbull including Mal Brough, George Brandis, Christopher Pyne, Julie Bishop, Peter Hendy, Scott Ryan, Craig Laundy and Arthur Sinodinos.

“They think they voted themselves into office. They voted themselves out of office. Hang your heads in shame, all of you.”
