STARS stayed on to party in St-Tropez after Leonardo DiCaprio’s blockbuster environmental gala that raised $40 million ($A54.38 million) for his foundation.
Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, Adrien Brody, Michelle Rodriguez, and Nina Dobrev, along with models Irina Shayk and Jessica Stam, were spotted at club VIP Room, on the picturesque St-Tropez waterfront, reports the New York Post.
Sources said Hudson — who’s single after recently splitting with her rocker fiance Matt Bellamy — was seen dancing with a mystery man at the bash.
“She was dancing and flirting,†said one source, adding the guy was “tall, tan and very good-lookingâ€. According to the source, “they were dancing all night†and the fellow had a “man bun†— seemingly the follicular accessory of choice on the international party scene after being popularised by DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Jared Leto and Chris Hemsworth.
Sources claimed Hudson and the unidentified gentleman walked out of the club together.
But Hudson’s legal team says that’s untrue. “The statement that Ms. Hudson and the mystery man were seen leaving together is completely false,†they said in a letter to the New York Post. “There are multiple witnesses, including paparazzi photos, proving that she went home alone.â€
Hudson’s been rumoured to be seeing Dancing With the Stars hoofer Derek Hough.
Meanwhile, Campbell was reported to have danced on a platform with drag queens and go-go dancers dressed in panties and bras, and DiCaprio was incognito in a burly beard and a West Virginia University baseball cap pulled down low.
Leonardo DiCaprio raised over $US40 million ($A54.38 million) for the environment at the gala, where he auctioned off art by Banksy, a trip to the Arctic with Prince Albert of Monaco, and private concerts with Elton John.
The Hollywood star of box-office hits such as Titanic and The Wolf of Wall Street is an avid greenie, who has his own environmental foundation.
He opened the gala on Wednesday night by offering several of his own items for auction, including a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph watch, and Andy Warhol and Banksy artworks.
The fundraising will support efforts to “protect key species like the tiger, rhino, shark, and mountain gorilla by working with governments to conserve the jungles, coral reefs and forests they call homeâ€, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation said in a statement.
“We’ve decimated our forests, wildlands, polluted and overfished our rivers and oceans — all the key ecosystems that not only serve as a home to our planet’s biodiversity, but also make life here for us possible,†DiCaprio said.
