NOTHING sends shivers down the spine of a wanted fugitive quite like the mention of Dog the Bounty Hunter.
There is something about his long mullet, biker vest and service station sunglasses that makes him a force to be reckoned with.
While he has been responsible for kicking down doors to capture some of America’s biggest lowlifes, Dog admits there is one person that he will never attempt to track down.
And that is El Chapo — the Mexican drug lord that escaped a high-security prison earlier this month.
Despite the Mexican government offering a $3.8 million reward ($AU5.2 million) for the arrest of the escaped Sinaloa cartel kingpin, Dog is not getting involved.
“He probably would be out of my league,†he told Fox 411.

Dog said he is also very cautious about going to Mexico because bounty hunting is illegal -something he learned the hard way after being arrested by Mexican authorities in 2003 after capturing a convicted American rapist in Puerto Vallarta.
“I have learned to stay in my own country,†he said.
“You can’t even talk about arresting a guy in Mexico.â€
However, Dog is confident he knows the secret to capturing escaped fugitive.
“In order to take him down, number one, you better have a fully automatic weapon,†he said.
“With my weapon, you have to get really close to him — and you couldn’t get that close to him because he probably has five or six guys with him at all times.â€
“There would have to be two or three of you to take him down because he is going to shoot it out next time.
“Last time, I heard they surrounded him and gave him a chance to come out.â€
