Using the new Oliving by HANS range of deli meats, i was able to make these dishes both healthier and tastier, thanks to some of the saturated fat being replaced by Greek olive oil.
250 Grams of pitted Kalamata olives
250 Grams of pitted green olives
Jar chargrilled mushrooms
250 Grams of Marinated Artichokes
300 Grams of semi sun-dried tomatoes
250 Grams of Provolone Mild Dolce cheese
250 Grams of Mozzarella cheese
200 Grams - 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Naturally Smoked Ham 100g
200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Hungarian Salami 100g
200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Turkey Breast 100g
200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Chicken Breast 100g
1800 Grams of Garlic bread
Gissini Breadsticks with Honey Mustard & Turkey
30 Breadsticks
300 Grams of Oliving by Hans Turkey 300g
½ Cup of mayonnaise
4 Tablespoons of honey
6 Tablespoons of mustard
Honey Steak Sauce Cocktail Franks
2 Cups of Heinz ketchup
6 Tablespoons of yellow mustard ( French’s )
1/2 of a cup of worcestershire sauce
3 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1.5 Teaspoons of tabasco sauce
1 Teaspoon of salt salt flakes
½ Cup of honey
Cocktail Franks
Mix all ingredients together. Heat & add cocktail franks. Cook for 20 minutes
Creamy Bacon Carbonara ( Serves 20 )
1.2 litres of pure cream
3 x 500 gram Packets of fettuccine pasta
4 Packets of Oliving by Hans Rindless Pan-Sized Bacon 300g
400 Grams of grated full fat cheddar cheese
Salt
400 Grams of cut up button mushrooms
3 Tablespoons
75 Grams of unsalted butter
2 Large brown onions
4 Cloves of garlic
Olive oil
1 Bunch of Parsley for garnish
Method
Bring Fettuccine to boil & add 3 tablespoons of chicken salt
Once well cooked, remove the fettuccine from boil & strain
Pour fettuccine into a large saucepan & fill with tap water to cool
Put crushed garlic with a splash of olive oil into a hot frypan & cook for 1-2 minutes or until starting to brown
Add chopped onion & cut up bacon with a splash of oil & cook well
