This is an everyday makeup look. If you are going out to the mall or hang out with friends, you can try this look.
Start with applying Dior Hydra Life Pro Youth Cream all over your face. Let it settle down into your skin.
Next apply face primer. Astha is using Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer. This is an amazing primer by Too Faced Cosmetics. You can use your fingers for applying the primer. Use upward circular motions.
For base Astha is using Urban Decay's Naked Foundation. Since Urban Decay is not easily available in India you can also go for MAC Face and Body which is similar to the foundation used here.
Use a puffing brush for applying the foundation. Astha is using a puffing brush from Real Techniques.
The Urban Decay's foundation is not very viscous. It is quite watery and gives a very buildable coverage. Move the brush in circular motion for applying the foundation.
Concealer is applied before foundation if skin has imperfections like acne marks etc. If the skin is relatively imperfection free then apply concealer after the foundation.
Using circular motion with the brush contacting the face lightly allows the product to get into your skin. Apply the base over your ears also. Other wise the ears will have a different tone than the rest of the face.
After you have buffed the foundation into your skin set it. Astha is using MAC Studio Fix Powder (NC 20). You can either use a brush or the sponge to apply the powder.
Applying the powder gives you more coverage and also gives a matte finish.
Let's start sculpting the face.
Astha starts with a bronzer. She uses Chocolate by Too faced. She uses the bronzer to add dimension to her cheeks and contour her nose & jaw line. Astha uses a blush brush by Real Techniques for contouring the jaw line.
If you want to suppress your chin you can apply bronzer over it. Don't forget to blend properly.
Next Astha adds some pink color with an Inglot Eyeshadow called double sparkle. Make-up products can be used in innovate ways guys! Remember do not apply too much pink just a little bit.
For the eyes astha is using Urban Decay's Naked Palette. You do not need an eye primer for an everyday look so Astha is not applying it.
Astha starts with a warm shade called Buck for tracing her crease. Be as light and diffused as possible. So blend properly.
Next take a flat eyeshadow brush. Astha is using No: 350 by make-up design. She picks the colour Sin from the palette and pat it on the eye lid. Next blend it with you crease colour.
Next take a pencil brush (Astha is suing MAC 219) and dip your brush in the colour called virgin. It is a very light champagne colour. Put a slight bit of it in the inner corners of your eyes. This will make the eyes look bigger and open.
You can also highlight area below the eyebrows. You can use the same colour used for highlighting the inner eye area. For blending Astha uses Real Technique's Base Shadow brush.
For an every day look you can skip applying eyeliner and just go with mascara. Astha first curls her eye lashes and then applies Too Face Better Than Sex Mascara. Apply mascara on lower lashes as well.
To make your eyes look bigger you can either use either a skin colour or white colour on you water line. The two products recommended by Astha by NYX.
If you are really keen you can put on an eyeliner as well. Astha uses Sigma E 10 eyeliner brush. Use an eyeliner to give definition to the eyes. Use a very thin line as close to the lash line as possible.
Next using an angled brush (Astha is using one by MUD). Pick the black eyeshadow from the palette called Black Out and dab it over the eyeliner. If you do have a fall out the use light motion of your blush brush to flick it away.
To give your face a light and dewy finish use MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Soft and Gentle. Use highlighter brush to apply the skin finish. Apply the highlighter to the highest points of your cheeks, nose, forehead and cupid's bow.
Line your lips suing Pinky #835 by NYX. Use detailer brush (Astha uses one by Real Techniques) and blend the lip liner inwards. Using lip liner prevents lipstick from bleeding. You can also shape your lips using a lip liner. Astha uses Mac Mehr lipstick which is pretty awesome.
Brush your eyebrows. Use a MAC Brow Set and colour your eye brows.
