In this makeup tutorial Ishika Taneja will show you how to do smokey eyes makeup on small eyes so that they look big.
What usually happens is that when you do a smokey eyes your eyes look smaller.
1. Start by applying a creamy eye shadow which lasts longer.
2. Blend it all over the lid with a brush.
3. For contouring use a Maybelline gel eye liner. This will add intensity along the contours. Use a very small quantity of the liner. We are using it only along the lid so that the eyes look big and also there is colour on the lid.
4. For the highlight use a cream based eyeshadow. In this tutorial Ishika is using a Kryolan Cream based eyeshadow.
5. After blending (as demonstrated in the video) place eyeshadow (Bright Fuschia by MAC) on the top. Place it on the eye lids to make them pop.
6. Place a little bit on the edge as well so that it looks as if the colour has been continued.
7. Now take some Carbon By MAC and place it on the edges and blend with a blender brush. This will give the smokey effect.
8. Take Vanilla by Beauty Solutions and put it on the brow bone to make it pop and make the eyes look bigger.
9. Apply some Vanilla By Beauty Solutions just below the water line to open up the eyes even further.
10. To increase the intensity use black eye colour on the outer edges. Smudge the black to get a smokey effect.
11. Use a gel kajal for the water line.
12. Line the lashes with a Chanel Eye Pencil.
13. Apply Deor Oversize Volume Mascara on the lashes. This will open up the eyes even further.
14. Do the eyebrows with mixed brown and black. Powder eye shadow work well because it does not look very strong. Eyebrows are very important to do to bring out the eyes.
15. To make the eyes look bigger do the contours a little higher than normal.
16. Also the colour on the eyelid and the brow bone are contrasting they also make the eye look bigger.
