In February 2013, MasterChef star Julie Goodwin visited Uganda as ChildFund Australia's newest ambassador.
Julie and her husband Mick -- who have been ChildFund sponsors for 13 years -- met one of their sponsored children, Hamad, and had the opportunity to learn more about ChildFund's work first-hand. During their trip, they participated in a Nutrition Day and visited a range of ChildFund projects to see for themselves the value of child sponsorship in helping children and families overcome poverty.
