Following the successful Water World and Family Film Festivals, ChildFund Connect is proud to present the 2014 Dreams Film Festival, a collection of short films made by children for children.
With over 700 kids taking part, the annual festival gives children the opportunity to take an active role in every part of the production process, from scripting to storyboarding, acting and editing. The finished works are sometimes serious, sometimes funny, but always engaging and full of creativity and imagination. Ranging from the hilarious story of the escaped guinea pig in Petal’s Runaway Dream, to the beautiful adaptation of the Vietnamese fairytale Tam’s Dream, these shortlisted films were voted this year’s favourite stories by children from Australia, Brazil, Laos, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
