In International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2014 (September), over 100 volunteers from 64 trades and suppliers built and fully furnished a house in just 21 days. With some help from Scott Cam, The Block's Brad & Lara Cranfield and Jason Grant, the result was phenomenal.
On Auction Day, the Build for a Cure home was sold with proceeds going direct to Children's Cancer Institute - Australia's only independent research facility dedicated to childhood cancer.
You can Build for a Cure by donating at http://buildforacure.org.au/ because Children's Cancer Institute don't need a miracle - just the funds to make it happen.
