A child has been hit and killed by a car at a childcare centre in Epping in Melbourne's outer-north.
The child was struck in a car park of Kiddy Palace Learning Centre shortly before 4.45pm on Monday.

A woman was also taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition, Ambulance Victoria said.
The driver is assisting police with their enquiries.
