Two young men have been charged with murder after an alleged assault outside a Parafield Gardens pub that resulted in the death of a man.
Police were called to the Slug ‘N’ Lettuce, on Martins Rd about 12.40am on Saturday to find members of the public trying to help a man with serious injuries.
The 46-year-old man from the northern suburbs was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He later died in hospital, SA Police say.
Two Paralowie men, both aged 19, were initially charged on Saturday with aggravated assault cause serious harm. Those charges were upgraded to murder on Saturday afternoon.
Pub management declined to comment.
