Picking bridesmaids for a wedding can often be a stressful task — so why not have all your mates by your side.

A bride from New Orleans went all out for her beach wedding after she chose to enlist all 34 of her closest friends and family — six sisters and 28 mates to be exact — to be by her side on her big day.

Casme Carter, who tied the knot earlier this month in Destin, Florida, recently posted a video snap of her entourage of “sistahs” to her Instagram, which has since gone viral.

She captioned it: “My Bridesmaids on FLEEEK!”.

The post shows all 34 women lined up on a Florida beach as Casme sat in front of them on the sand, posing in a white bikini with a veil attached to her hair.

“WOW!! Those are all bridesmaids?????” one person asked.

“Wow! I don’t even know that many females that I like that much! Congrats to her!” another shocked woman said.

“Casme don’t do nothing small,” another added, with a fourth saying, “Wow, this is a team.”

Others described the one-of-a kind photo as “insane” and “unreal”.

The local singer planned on having 50 ladies but some couldn’t make it due to personal reasons.

Why so many ladies? Casme told CNN she had a lot of friends from mentoring and participating in women’s empowerment groups.

“I wanted them all to experience the love that they’ve seen that I’ve been praying for and wanting. I wanted them to witness it first-hand,” Casme told the publication.

Her now husband Gary Carter had no problem with it, however he did question whether he had to match the women with an equal amount of men.

“You don’t expect me to have that many groomsmen,” she recalls him saying.

“He thought I was joking, but then he was like, ‘If anybody can do it’. He knows how I am and how many women are around me,” Casme told the outlet.

Instead, 12 of the bridesmaids walked with groomsmen, while the others came down the aisle “fashion show-style” like they were on a runaway.

But the women initially had no idea they were part of a tribe of 34 bridesmaids.

“When they saw everybody they were like, ‘Oh my God, Casme. This is so awesome!’”

With so many bridesmaids one can only imagine the costs associated, especially the dresses, but Casme kept it simple and affordable.

According to Today, she asked the women to wear neutral tones to the 5am nuptials, with many picking dresses they already owned, while others grabbed a $US25 ($A35) design that Casme found on Amazon.

“I told them not to give me gifts and that them being there for me was the best present I could receive,” she told Today.

She thoughtfully picked a location where no one would have to travel more than six hours by car.

“I really can’t say nothing more than … “this is love”! Period,” she said in the Instagram photo of her bridal tribe.
