Police have arrested a man in Sydney's CBD after another man was stabbed at a Wynyard bus stop.
Emergency services were called to Carrington Street, outside the Wynyard train station, about 2pm, after reports a man had been stabbed while he was waiting in a bus queue.
The man was stabbed while waiting for a bus at Wynyard.
Photo: Twitter @occupy_nowThe man suffered stab wounds to the back of his neck and was treated by paramedics at the scene, before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
The alleged attacker initially got away but, after a search of the area, he was arrested nearby about an hour later and taken to Day Street police station.
Inquiries are continuing, and police are urging anyone with information or who saw the attack to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
