Check out all the gowns and glitz as the stars, including Australians Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, make their way into the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for the 90th Academy Awards.

Fashion commentators nearly abandoned their posts when Kidman arrived in her cobalt blue Armani Privé dress, declaring her the hands-down winner for best dressed.

And as usual, best actress nominee Robbie received praise for her red carpet look — an elegant, off-the-shoulder Chanel dress.
