Regardless of the 0-0 result, the Champions League clash between Sevilla and Manchester United was a thrilling affair, with the highlight of the match coming at the end of the first half when Red Devils keeper David De Gea made an astonishing save to deny Sevilla striker Luis Muriel.
Two schools of thought emerged on social media almost as soon as the save was made; firstly, that the Spanish keeper's intervention would go down in history for its brilliance, and secondly that Muriel had absolutely botched a gilt-edged chance.
Even if you are in the latter camp, there is no denying De Gea did well to keep the shot out, and he had an all-round excellent showing in a game where Sevilla troubled Manchester United's defence on a regular basis.
