The Australian Fed Cup squad member said she was confident she could break the duck and lift her first trophy in Canberra.

"It's been a really good week, I enjoy playing in Canberra, I've always done pretty well here and am looking forward to the final," Aiava said.

"Clay is my favourite court to play on. I've just always had good results on clay since I was little and pretty much grew up on clay in Melbourne, I have a lot of experience on it."

Jakupovic has been in scintillating touch dropping just 12 games in four matches en route to the final and Aiava knows she'll take some beating on the red dirt.

She dispatched England's Taylor Gabriella 6-2 6-2 to reach the decider after taking out the doubles title alongside Priscilla Hon on Friday.

Jakupovic is chasing her fifth ITF singles crown but Aiava won the only match between the pair when she prevailed in three sets on clay last year.

"It's going to be tough match because she's had a really good week as well but I'm looking forward to the test," Aiava said.

ACT CLAYCOURT INTERNATIONAL FINAL:

Sunday: Canberra Tennis Centre, 11am.
