A man has been freed on bail, after allegedly being found drunk, naked and surrounded by cheeseburgers inside the Masonic Memorial Centre on Ann Street in Brisbane.

His lawyer told Seven News that his client had drunk a bottle of Johnny Walker had planned to deliver cheesburgers to the homeless. Instead he broke into the centre where we was later found lying among the pipes of one of Queensland’s biggest pipe organs.

“Things just got a little bit loose,” was his description of the event.

When asked by a reporter why he got naked, he responded: “I can’t explain that at the moment.”

Among his possession when he was found was clothes, a remote control police car and a toy gun.

“I was out of it,” he said.

The man has apologised for his actions.

“I apologise to all the righteous Freemasons everywhere,” he said.

“I am very sorry, I sincerely apologise.”

The care of the 1930s organ, which is insured for $1 million, says the damage caused is irreparable.
