Two more people have been charged over an attack on three policemen who were allegedly struck on the head with an axe handle and a full can of beer while on duty in Western Australia's south.
The officers were responding to a disturbance in the Albany suburb of Orana on November 2 when they chased a man who they had tried to question and were confronted by an angry group.
A 38-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of assaulting a public officer, obstructing a public officer and disorderly conduct, while a 26-year-old man has been charged with assaulting a public officer.
Two men, aged 19 and 21, were previously charged with obstructing public officers and assaulting a public officer.
