Here’s the top tech news for Tuesday:

1. Amaysim is not satisfied with mobiles and NBN, it’s now selling electricity. The ASX-listed company has launched its energy products with no lock-in contracts and discounts that don’t expire, in a move foreshadowed in April when it acquired online power retailer Click Energy for $120 million. 2. Australia Post’s online parcel system suffered an outage on Monday. The shipping and tracking service failed, with retailer customers encountering an error message when trying to access the site. The incident is under investigation, and Australia Post would not be yet be drawn on a possible cause. Read more here.

3. NBN is coming after you if you wreck its stuff. iTnews reports a dedicated team has been created to chase up repair costs from third parties that damage NBN infrastructure, an occurrence commonly seen during road works, renovations, or car accidents, which are all becoming more frequent now that the network has rolled out to many urban areas.

4. A startup providing full property management for $100 flat per month has raised $1 million of capital. The AFR reports :Different, which was founded by a former Uber global exec and her Australian husband, has been backed in a round led by AirTree Ventures, and supported by AngelList’s Parker Thomson, Silicon Valley firm Foundation Capital and Belle Property’s Tim Foote.

5. York Butter Factory has a new chief executive. The incubator and co-working space provider has selected former GE, Motorola and BP executive Farley Blackman as its new leader, according to The Australian, which will allow co-founder Stuart B Richardson to take a more focused role.
