“I think people are becoming far more conscious about how they live, there is no two ways about that,†he said.
“I think people are looking at sustainable ways that they can live off the land. I’m seeing a huge increase in vegie boxes and vegie gardens.
“It is a cost-saving mechanism but also it is about people encouraging and teaching their children that not everything comes from the supermarket — that we have the ability to grow our food.â€
Set on five acres, the Littlehampton property also features five bedrooms, three paddocks and a solar-heated swimming pool.
Another property at 26 Pike St, Oakbank will also allow its new owners to lead a green lifestyle.
