HEALTH authorities are investigating as a tuberculosis case which has been recorded at one of the Gold Coast’s busiest schools.
At least one person at Pimpama State secondary college has been diagnosed with the deadly disease, with parents notified today.
The Health Department has confirmed a case of the dieses had be reported on the Gold Coast. However, they have moved to assure people it is unlikely the disease has been passed on to anyone else at the school.
Screenings will be performed at the school in coming weeks.
